Up until now, the only way to get your hands on the Chibi-Robo amiibo was to purchase the Zip Lash 3DS bundle, but it looks like lucky fans in the US will soon be able to purchase it separately.
Announced on Reddit by AmazonAndrew, the Chibi-Robo standalone amiibo will be an Amazon exclusive and will go on sale 30 November 2015. Pre-orders open 2 pm PT, 19 November and will be limited to 2 per customer.
We reached out to Nintendo Australia to see if we’d be able to get our hands on the amiibo separately here and a representative advised, “In Australia and New Zealand, the Chibi-Robo amiibo is currently available in a bundle with a copy of Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash for Nintendo 3DS.”
Looks like you’ll only be able to get the amiibo with a copy of the game.
