As we enter the home stretch towards E3, it’s time for all our favourite gaming companies to start dropping breadcrumbs leading to their Next Big Thing. The latest to get the Stevivor staff’s collective mouths watering is CD Projekt Red, creators of The Witcher and its sequel, Assassins of Kings. A teaser image has been released (in full below), ahead of an official full announcement to be streamed live from their Facebook page at 5pm GMT today (that’ll be 3am Thursday morning, for the Australian east coast).
Whatever this project ends up being, it seems pretty clear it has some sort of cyberpunk/sci-fi flavouring to it, a big departure from the fantasy medieval stylings of their previous Witcher titles. It’s already been confirmed as an RPG title, so hopefully there are more juicy details to be found in the live stream overnight.
