Call of Duty Modern Warfare killstreaks confirmed ahead of MP reveal

Call of Duty Modern Warfare will bring killstreaks back to multiplayer, Activision and Infinity Ward have revealed ahead of a multiplayer reveal that will take place within the day.

Three killstreaks — a Juggernaut suit, an assault vehicle and white phosphorous — were confirmed ahead of the actual event, scheduled for 3.00 am AEST tomorrow, 2 August. You can check out the gallery below for an idea of what to expect with the killstreaks themselves.

It’s important to note that these are referred to as killstreaks, not scorestreaks; merely landing some hits on an opponent won’t count.

Our very own Luke Lawrie’s attending the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer reveal event, so expect more from him shortly.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 25 October.
