Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Zombies mode will be free-to-play this coming weekend, Activision has recently announced.

The free-to-play period will be offered over 15-22 January here in Australia and New Zealand, with a range of Zombies modes on offer.

Each and every platform will offer up Die Maschine and Cranked for free during this time, while those on PlayStation will also gain access to its exclusive Onslaught mode.

“After uncovering initial secrets about the Dark Aether, Requiem is calling on all reinforcements to investigate anomalies related to this mysterious power source,” Activision said of the event in a press release. “If you have yet to be called into action against the undead horde, get ready to gear up for a full week of free zombie-slaying action.”

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5. We reviewed it here.
