Call of Duty 2019 reveal will take place overnight

The next Call of Duty — the one available later this year in 2019 — will be detailed tomorrow, Activision Blizzard and Infinity Ward have confirmed.

Ah, news about a reveal of a reveal: got to love it.

The official Call of Duty Twitter account tweeted a cryptic message with a time and date on it — 10.00 am PT corresponds to 3.00 am AEST tomorrow, 1 June.

If past Call of Duty reveals are anything to go by, we can expect a handful of details and a trailer tomorrow, with more information to come at E3 2019. Usually, multiplayer is reserved for E3 itself, but with Sony bowing out this year and because of an exclusivity arrangement between the two, your guess as to what’s happening this year is as good as mine.

We’ll have more on the next Call of Duty game — rumoured to simply be called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (though we’re sticking with the Modern Warfare 4 moniker for ease of understanding) — when it’s available.
