Burn is a musical epic from Stone’s Convict Games

Meet Nina Burn.

Burn is the next title from Convict Games, developers of the Aussie Stoner Noir Stone.

The title will follow a Finnish pop star named Nina Burn across three different phases of her career: her debut at age 17, establishment at age 24, and climax at age 27. A series of player choices — ranging between good, bad and ugly — will result in 16 different endings.

The setting means Burn will feature a soundtrack with distinctly different sounds. Joonas Turner (Broforce, Noita, Nuclear Throne) has created music ranging from Dark ambient, Techno, Black Metal, Berlin post-wave, Russian sci-fi ambience and Hip Hop genres.

“Every time the story is shuffled the composed score will change genres as well giving a different atmosphere that gets lighter or darker based on your choices and replays,” Convict Games confirmed.

“Burn is a character study and reflection of how far someone can go for their art and the cost of fame,” added Writer and Director Greg Louden. “We’ve been working on Burn since the COVID lockdown started in February 2020, tapping into our passion for the stories of the music industry, pop stars, body horror and classic music cinema and documentaries.”

Expect Burn from Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X in 2022.
