Bungie Giving Day Festival is a worldwide fundraiser on now

The Bungie Giving Day Festival is on now and aims to fundraise for the Bungie Foundation, which in turn will donate to programs that support children’s health and well-being, humanitarian aid and inclusion, diversity, and equity.

The event is on now and runs until 21 July here in Australia.

Destiny 2 players can donate to the cause and walk away some primo loot as well. First, players can choose to buy a real-world plushie in the form of Prime-40’s Artemis, an in-game emote that has been added at the request of Wish Kid Cristian, a Guardian who wanted to see his own pet immortalised within the shooter. Players can also choose to purchase the emote — shown at top — separately.

“100% of profits from Prime-40’s Artemis plush will go directly to the Bungie Foundation and help grant more wishes for kids like Cristian,” Bungie promised.

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia.
