Boring ol’ Australia: Mario is our most popular amiibo; everyone else loves Link

In addition to confirming that future amiibo will be bundled with NES and SNES Virtual Console trials, Nintendo also detailed amiibo popularity and sales per region.

In Australia, we went vanilla, putting Mario on top in terms of most popular amiibo. Japan, North America and Europe all went with The Legend of Zelda‘s Link.

Back at home, Pikachu, Link, Kirby and Yoshi were next in the pecking order, as according to a translation by @FarmboyinJapan.
