Nintendo’s amiibo figures to come bundled with NES and SNES Virtual Console trials

Nintendo today confirmed that their amiibo figures will soon come bundled with trials of NES and SNES Virtual Console games.

Scanning an amiibo to a compatible NFC touchpad will unlock a time-based Virtual Console trial. It’s not yet been confirmed which amiibo will come bundled with which demo.

Support for Wii U has been confirmed, but there’s no word yet on 3DS availability.
