Bioshock: The Collection: Everything you need to know

2K has unleashed a wealth of information about the upcoming Bioshock: The Collection.

Let’s get straight to it, shall we?

Wait, what?

Didn’t you know? Bioshock: The Collection heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It’s a bundle of Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock: Infinite and all DLC.

The collection is available at retail from 15 September, though PC copies mightn’t be ready until 16 September. Read below for more.

How to upgrade existing copies on PC

Those who own Bioshock and Bioshock 2 on PC can upgrade those copies for free.

If you own the game(s) on Steam, the remastered version of the title will appear in your Steam library from 8.00 am AEST on 16 September.

Those who own Bioshock 2 on the now-defunct Games for Windows Live will need to activate that game code via Steam’s “Activate a Product” option. This process also applies to the game’s “Minerva’s Den” DLC.

Finally, those who own the games physically will need to send Steam profile information and a proof of purchase to 2K Support.

Please be aware, there is no option to upgrade Xbox 360 to Xbox One or PS3 to PS4.
