And we now have a better idea of what to expect.
Registration for August’s Nintendo Live 2024 Sydney will open on 17 June, Nintendo today advised, also giving us a better idea of what to expect from the two-day event.
As a reminder, Nintendo Live 2024 Sydney is scheduled to take place over 31 August and 1 September at the International Convention Centre Sydney.
“In addition to Nintendo Switch gameplay, photo ops with costume characters like Mario and Luigi, a pop-up My Nintendo Store with merchandise and additional family-friendly activities, Nintendo Live 2024 Sydney will also host live stage events including daily special appearances from Mario Ambassador, Charles Martinet,” Nintendo said in a press release.
In true Nintendo style, registration is a multi-step process, involving a lottery and with associated requirements. Those wanting tickets must be 18-years-old or older and be in possession of a Nintendo Account. If you want to try to secure tickets for your family, they must also have their own Nintendo Accounts, and those all need to be linked to the same Nintendo Account Family Group.
“This ensures that all parties in the same group can attend together and on the same day,” said of account linking, adding that anyone selected will only get tickets for a single day of the event.
Registration opens at 9.00 am AEST on 17 June and closes at 11.59 pm AEST on 30 June. Good luck to those entering the lottery!
