Battlefield Hardline rewarding series veterans with free boosts

EA is giving owners of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 some free boosts to kickstart their time with Battlefield Hardline.

As long as you have an EA Origin account with any of those games linked, when you first boot up Hardline you will be given the “Veteran’s Pack” which contains a Patch (the ‘put on your virtual clothes’ kind, not the ‘fixing broken games’ kind) and two in game boosts that give you a 200% bump to experience for a half hour.

It isn’t giving away gold mines, but it is nice to see EA give back to the veterans of a series that has inspired fierce loyalty over the years. You can read the full conditions on the Battlefield Hardline website. Hardline arrives 17 March for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC via Origin. You can check out our previews of single player here and multiplayer here.
