Australian Starcraft 2 pro advances to World Championship Series Round of 16

Australian Starcraft 2 pro PiG has overcome some stiff competition this past weekend to advance into the Starcraft 2 World Championship Series Round of 16.

His day began with a rough start against Russian Terran player Happy, who swiftly defeated him 2 – 0. His second match was against fellow Zerg player Targa, who he defeated 2 – 1 before finally facing Happy one last time to decide who would finish second and progress through into the Round of 16.

PiG took the first map before Happy rallied his mech based Terran army and took game number 2. The third game was the decider and, despite some early Reaper harassment from Happy, PiG managed to drop Roaches into Happys main before burrowing a Nydus Worm to continue the flood. Happy could do nothing but watch as the Roaches of PiG tore apart his main, securing his victory and earning him a place in the Round of 16.
