Aussie game Stone offers demo alongside new, free update

A demo for Stone, the debut game from Aussie studio Convict Games, is now available on Steam.

The demo will provide players the opportunity to try the game’s opening three chapters and can be grabbed here.

Moreover, those with the game’s retail release have been issued a free update that adds a Record Shop to the world map. Said shop will let players play through Stone‘s soundtrack; Convict has also provided soundtrack access via Soundcloud.

“Stone players will be getting more free updates ahead, and we can’t wait for players to jump in and explore our updates so far. For new players our free 3 chapter demo will be a great way to get a taste of what we’ve created,” Convict’s Gregory Louden said.

“Our goal at Convict is to tell high impact and alternative stories that fuse cinema, music, art, tv and the best aspects of videogame and cinematic storytelling.”

Stone is available now on Windows PC and Mac. We reviewed the title here.
