Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate’s official announcement is only two days old, but already fans are being offered four separate special editions, a season pass and two replicas of in-game items. Thanks to some detective work we know the four editions available for pre-order and how much they cost.
First up is the Special Edition which will retail for $79 AUD at JB Hi-Fi and $99.95 AUD at EB Games and includes the game and one additional mission, The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy.
The Rooks Edition ($119.95 AUD at EB Games and $99 AUD at JB Hi-Fi) comes bundled in a collector’s box and includes a copy of the game, a double-sided map of London, art book, soundtrack and access to The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy and Runaway Train missions.
The Charing Cross Edition ($149.95 AUD and exclusive to EB Games) comes bundled in a special box designed to display the included 26cm tall Jacob figurine as well as a copy of the game, a double-sided map of London, art book, soundtrack and access to The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy and Runaway Train missions.
The Big Ben Collector’s Case Edition ($199.95 AUD for digital download on PC, $209.95 AUD physical PC copy and $219.95 AUD for PS4 and Xbox One and exclusive to the Uplay Store) comes bundled in the Big Ben Box and includes a copy of the game, 30cm tall Jacob figurine, a copy of the game, a double-sided map of London, art book, soundtrack and access to The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy and Runaway Train missions, a FuturPak case, a numbered Lithograph voted on by those who pre-order, a hip flask and access to the game’s Season Pass.
Ubisoft has not yet revealed the contents of the Season Pass, so you’ll be buying it on blind faith if you pre-order the Big Ben Edition. Season Passes haven’t gone so smoothly for Ubisoft in recent times.
Aside from the special editions of the game, Ubisoft are also offering two physical replicas of in-game items; the Assassin’s Gauntlet Replica and the Cane Sword Replica. Both are available for $78 AUD from EB Games.
