Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s first live event cancelled

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey‘s first live event has been cancelled due to technical issues, Ubisoft has advised.

The event, set to start yesterday, was meant to offer Epic and Legendary rewards to players Level 30 or greater. In the event, players would have tasked to track down Damais the Indifferent.

“This week’s live event was canceled – apologies for the inconvenience,” the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account advised. “Rumor has it that Damais bailed at the very last minute. Apparently, he was intimidated by the idea of facing the misthios. He’ll give you a fair fight as soon as we track him down.”

Moreover, Ubisoft said the event will now start on 23 October.

“But don’t let your guard down just yet, as an epic ship is expected to arrive soon. Keep an eye on the Aegean Sea from Oct 23rd,” a second tweet read.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is out now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
