Arkham Knight is bringing Batgirl into the family

Warner Bros. today announced the first downloadable content for Batman: Arkham Knight titled “Batgirl: A Matter of Family”. It is the first time Batgirl will appear in the Arkham series and takes place before the first game in the series, Arkham Asylum. Not much was revealed about the content of the expansion beyond it being story driven.

“Batgirl: A Matter of Family” will be available 15 July for owners of the Arkham Knight “season pass”, or 22 July through PSN and Xbox Live for $9.95. It is being developed by WB Games Montreal, creators of the only non-Rocksteady game in the Arkham series, Arkham Origins. No release date for the PC was announced, it looks like all focus on that front is getting the game in a state to go back on store shelves.
