Apex Legends’ Pathfinder has a dodgy hit box

Apex Legends’ Pathfinder has a bit of a dodgy hit box, Respawn has confirmed.

YouTuber SookieSpy first brought the hitbox issue to light, showing how Pathfinder’s extends out from his bod– er, robotic frame. The larger than necessary hitbox pits the character at a disadvantage; opponents can score damage without the need to be accurate. The issue seems to be specific to Pathfinder; none of the other seven in-game characters are impacted.

Taking to Reddit, Respawn said it was aware of and investigating the issue.

“We are definitely aware of it and we were actually discussing it today. I can’t say anything more for now but we hear you guys,” Community Manager, Jay Frechette, wrote.

We’ll keep you informed as more is known.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale set in the world of Titanfall. It’s available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
