Animated Overwatch and Diablo TV shows are in development, according to the LinkedIn profile of Activision Blizzard’s film and television division head.
As per GameSpot, the LinkedIn profile of Nick van Dyk, President of Activision Blizzard Studios, refers to both projects in his own job description.
“Executive producer of Diablo, a TV adaptation of Blizzard Entertainment’s IP, rendered in anime style,” reads the first listing. “The show is currently in pre-production for distribution worldwide through Netflix.”
“With my creative partner, developed and sold an animated series based [on] Blizzard’s Overwatch franchise,” reads the second listing.
