Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is Nintendo’s next mobile game

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, Nintendo’s newest mobile title, was detailed today in a new Nintendo Direct.

As you might gather from its name, Pocket Camp places you in charge of an Animal Crossing-themed camp site, where you’re able to customise your character and then craft items to beautify your surroundings. Placing the right items, like furniture, in your camp will attract new animal friends to join in on the fun.

An in-game currency called Leaf Tickets can be purchased with real-world money or earned in-game, and is used to obtain crafting items.

Days pass in real-time, and different quests and animals will appear at different times of the day. Quests can increase an animal’s Friendship Level, making your camp that much better.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp heads to iOS and Android in late November. A pre-registration page is already available on Android devices.
