All episodes of Fallout Season 1 will be released on 11 April

You read that right.

Each and every single episode of Fallout Season 1 will be available to view on Prime Video from 11 April, the streamer has today announced.

Update: We now know that Fallout Season 1 will be avaliable from 11.00 am AEST on 11 April. Set those alarms!

“Set in the world of the best-selling global video game franchise, Fallout will now exclusively premiere all episodes on Prime Video on new date April 11, 2024,” Amazon said in a press release that was accompanied by a new trailer. That new date is just one day earlier than previously expected.

“Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have,” Amazon continued. “Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.”

Earlier this month, showrunner and director of the season’s first three episodes, Jonathan Nolan, described the series as Fallout 5.

“I don’t want to sound presumptuous,” Nolan said, “but it’s just a non-interactive version of it, right?”

The show also features a star-studded cast, including Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of Interest), Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Frances Turner (The Boys), Dave Register (Heightened), Zach Cherry (Severance), Johnny Pemberton (Ant-Man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead Ringers), Annabel O’Hagan (Law & Order: SVU)and Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).

Fallout will be available in its entirety on Prime Video from 11 April here in Australia. If you’re not subscribed, you can access a free 30-day trial or pay $9.99 AUD/month or $79 AUD/year for access.
