2K delists four WWE games from sale

Digital preservationists are about to jump from the turnbuckle...

Four WWE games have been delisted from sale by publisher 2K.

As spotted on Steam-Tracker, WWE 2K17, WWE 2K18, WWE 2K19 and WWE 2K20 have been removed from sale on Windows PC via Steam. The titles are also unavailable on both the PlayStation and Microsoft Stores for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

2K warned that servers for WWE 2K20 would be discontinued approximately two months ago, but didn’t mention the removal from storefronts.

“On 30th June, 2022 it will be time for the WWE 2K20 servers to take their retirement and stop online services,” 2K said at the time.

“This includes all online functions, such as online matches and Community Creations. You will no longer be able to access any online game mode after this point, however if you already own the game you will be able to continue to play offline modes.”

There was no WWE 2K21, but WWE 2K22 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
