Resident Evil 7: Here’s which version supports 4K, HDR, VR and more

Capcom today detailed which versions of Resident Evil 7 will support features like 4K, HDR and VR.

HDR

High dynamic range (HDR) will be offered on the Xbox One S, PS4, PS4 Pro and PC via Steam or the Windows Store.

You’ll of course need a TV or monitor that also supports HDR.

4K

4K resolution will be offered on PS4 Pro and PC via Steam or the Windows Store.

You’ll need a TV or monitor that is capable of 4K display.

VR

The PS4 or PS4 Pro will offer the experience in virtual reality (VR).

You’ll need a PlayStation VR unit to take advantage.

Cross-saves

Cross-saves are offered on the PC via the Windows Store and Xbox One or Xbox One S.

Resident Evil 7 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 24 January 2017.
