Guardians of the Galaxy collectibles Achievements/Trophies missable

So make sure you get them on your first run!

Guardians of the Galaxy is out today, and the Trophy hunters over at PowerPyx have revealed that the game’s five collectible Achievements and Trophies are missable.

While players can use level select to revisit past scenarios, PowerPyx reports that finding new collectibles using level select doesn’t actually add them to your tracked list. In other words, you need to find each of the game’s collectibles on your first run if you’re wanting associated honours.

PowerPyx recommends that players use a collectibles guide and rotate between two manual save slots to ensure they’ve not missed anything.

Thankfully, the Trophy hunters have also made a series of videos that will assist in finding each of the game’s 126 collectibles (including 45 outfits, 15 Guardian collectibles, 32 items and 34 Archives), and therefore Achievements and Trophies including Thoughtful Captain, Managerial Skills, Like a Glove!, Fashion Passion and Lore Hoarder. We’ve embedded chapter 1’s guide below.

Hopefully Eidos Montreal will patch the associated Achievements and Trophies so that level select can be employed and players can worry about the list after enjoying its story. We’ve asked Eidos and Square Enix for comment.

Guardians of the Galaxy is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. We reviewed it here.
