A Destiny 2 Black Spindle quest has been found, offering players the chance to grab the new and improved Whisper of the Worm.
Much like the quest to get the original Black Spindle in Destiny, fireteams will need to jump through a couple hoops to get this beauty.
Here’s how to grab the new weapon:
Destiny 2 Whisper of the Worm
- Head to Io and wait for the Taken Blight public event.
- During the event, a Taken Knight name Urzok will appear. Take him down before he retreats.
- A portal will activate when Urzok has been defeated. Enter it with your Fireteam.
- You’ll have twenty minutes to complete a mission full of jumping puzzles, enemies and Taken blights — fail, and you’ll have to do everything over.

If successful, the Whisper of the Worm is yours. It has the White Nail, which offers high precision damage and refills your clip after three precision shots in a row.
