Dead Space schematics guide: Power to Isaac

Load up the store.

Dead Space has a number of schematics to find, each useful in helping you survive the horror on the Ishimura. This guide will show you how to find all schematics in game.

We also have a guide on upgrades for Isaac’s RIG and weaponry; check that out here if you need further help.

Here’s where to find each schematic:

  • Stasis pack schematic: Found in Medical; Floor 1 – Main Lab Changing Room
  • Pulse rounds schematic: Found in Medical; Floor 4 – Coolant Pipelines
  • Medium med  pack schematic: Found just after the Decontamination Room on your way to the Centrifuge.
  • Ripper blades schematic: Found in Engineering; Floor 4 – Unnamed room off Fuel Storage.
  • Flamethrower fuel schematic: Found in Engineering; Floor 3 – Engine Room (right next to the button to reignite the engines).
  • Intermediate Engineer RIG schematic (Suit Level 3): Found just beyond the water purification room, or on the way to ADS cannon calibration (Bridge; Floor 5 – EVA Prep Room in Chapter 4). This needs to be equipped at a Bench.
  • Line racks schematic: Found in Medical; Floor 5 – Dr. B. Warwick – CPO office.
  • Contact Energy schematic: You’ll need to shoot out a lock to get into a small room in the processing area of the mining facility
  • Force energy schematic: Found in zero-g at the bottom of Hydroponics; Floor 3 – Air Filtration Tower.
  • Large med pack schematic: This is missable as it’s on the USC Valor’s Infirmary (Floor 1). Get this before you leave!
  • Oxygen tank schematic: Found in Engineering; Floor 4 – Platform Storage.
  • Advanced Engineering RIG schematic (Suit Level 5): Always check the toilets (Crew Quarters; Floor 4 – Standard Bathrooms). It costs $60,000 in the Store once you’ve found it (Chapter 10).
