Itchy, Tasty An Unofficial History of Resident Evil: Interview with Alex Aniel

The upcoming book's author talks about its development and more.

It’s official: Itchy, Tasty An Unofficial History of Resident Evil will head to backers later this month, a release timed for the 25th anniversary of the original Resident Evil on PlayStation.

Ahead of this release, Stevivor’s Steve Wright was able to sit down (virtually) with author Alex Aniel to discuss the Resident Evil fandom, Alex’s experience within the video game industry and, of course, the book itself.

We’ll offer up this 30-minute history in video form and as a special episode of our podcast. You’ll be able to access both below.

Listen to the Friendly Fire Show here.

If you’ve not been able to pre-order a copy through Unbound, don’t fret — the Itchy, Tasty: An Unofficial History of Resident Evil Ebook and hardcover physical book will go up for sale from 15 April. You can head to our helpful post here, chalk full of retailers who are offering the work.

Disclosure: Author Steve Wright has a friendship with Itchy, Tasty author Alex Aniel. Futhermore, Aniel has previously written articles for Stevivor.
