Star Trek Resurgence screens are total starship porn

And we're totally here for it.

Stevivor has its hands on a ton of Star Trek Resurgence screens and we simply had to share them for all those out there who are into starship porn.

Well, technically this is more Star Trek porn, as we’ve got a lot of shots of the inside and outside of the U.S.S. Resolute, the Centaur-class starship at the centre of Resurgence.

We’ve broken up screens into various sections, all detailed below.

The U.S.S. Resolute

We’ve got a great look at the Centaur-class ship from inside a shuttlecraft alongside looks at its bridge, main engineering and more.

Playable protagonists

Resurgence will have two playable protagonists in the form of Commander Jara Rydek and Petty Officer Carter Diaz. You can check both out below.

Dramatic Labs describes Commander Jara, the Resolute’s First Officer, as “top of her class the Academy and battle-tested in the Dominion War. As a new arrival to the Resolute… Jara will have to earn the trust of her crewmates. But she’s a half-Kobliad, and one of the last of her kind, so used to being an outsider and beating the odds.”

Meanwhile, non-commissioned officer Diaz is “a dreamer with a thirst for adventure,” according to the developer. He “decided to skip the Academy, and enlist in Starfleet so he could get out and see the galaxy. He’s a gifted engineer, and while life on the lower decks keeps him far from the decisions on the bridge, he almost always finds himself close to the action.”

The rest of the Resolute crew

We’ve been introduced a number of the Resolute’s command staff, though a large number of side characters are engineers alongside Diaz.

First, let’s cover the Resolute’s commanding officer, Captain Solano. He’s described as an officer “in the twilight of his career, but still has his ambitions, and he’s looking for a way to secure his place in the history books.”

Next is Commander Ben Westbrook, the Resolute’s Science Officer. “He speaks his mind and isn’t afraid to make waves, but when he latches onto a problem, he doesn’t let go until it’s solved,” says Dramatic Labs. He’s also a bit miffed that he wasn’t selected as the Resolute’s First Officer over Commander Jara.

Dr. Eraam Duvall is the ship’s Chief Medical Officer. “The crew trusts Dr. Duvall because she can always be counted on to tell the unvarnished truth – professionally or personally – even when it’s difficult to hear,” Dramatic Labs said. “She’s had her quarrels with Captain Solano, but is still a valued member of the senior staff. And as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Duvall is the only person aboard the Resolute who can actually give orders to the captain.”

Finally, Commander Yann Urmott rounds out the bridge crew, a Bolian who is “one of the Captain’s most steadfast supporters, and he’ll be watching Jara closely, now that she’s joined the Resolute’s senior staff.”

The Resolute’s Chief Engineer is Lieutenant Commander Chovak, a Vulcan. “Chovak is Carter and Edsilar’s boss, and he’s impossible to please,” Dramatic Labs said of the character. “This Vulcan isn’t interested in making friends and has little tolerance for emotional people. His only desire is to execute his duties with the utmost efficiency, and ensure that others do so as well.”

Petty Officer Nili Edsilar rounds out the roster. She’s an unjoined Trill that has “rebelled against the expectations of her society by enlisting in Starfleet,” said Dramatic Labs. “Her best friend Carter Diaz joined up so he could go somewhere, but she just wanted to get away. Whip-smart with a penchant for sarcasm, she’s not afraid to take someone down a peg – even in the heat of battle.”

Alien races

No Star Trek tale is complete without alien races, and Resurgence will feature two: the Hotari and the Alydian.

“With faces as rocky as the terrain they mine, the Hotari are salt of the earth people,” wrote Dramatic Labs. “Their moon is laden with the valuable mineral dilithium, but they have never been able to reap the rewards of their own natural resources – instead serving as the labor force for their oppressive galactic neighbors, the Alydians. But they’ve finally pushed back and the situation stands on the brink of war.”

Meanwhile, the Alydians are “a strictly hierarchical and military-oriented society [and] are the reigning power in this region,” the developer continued. “For decades, they have enriched themselves through the trade of Hotari dilithium, which couldn’t have been accessed without their technology. A fair trade in their eyes. Now that the Hotari are asserting their independence, the Alydians are fighting to take back control.”

Developed by former Telltale Games staffers in a new studio called Dramatic Labs, Star Trek Resurgence is planned for 2022. The title will be available on Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
