Destiny 2 Leviathan map glitch allows for solo chest collection

Destiny 2 Leviathan map glitch has been discovered by clever Guardians, allowing for easy collection of its Raid chests.

As per the videos below, the method of collection requires a player to leave the proper bounds of the map, then hitting up chests from the outside. Getting to the outside of the map isn’t as hard as you might expect — you use the same point of exit for each chest — but moving around once outside gets a bit trickier. If in doubt, be ready to pause the videos below and progress jump to jump. There are also segments where you’ll need to be patient as another section of the Leviathan map loads.

It’s equally as important to remember that you’ll actually need the keys to the Raid chests before setting off to open them.

See below for detailed instructions on how to access each chest.

Pipeline and Engine chests

Transfer chest

Conduit and Armory chests

Drain chest

Irrigation, Aqueduct and Ventilation chests

While all three remaining chests can be obtained actually moving with the map, there is a glitch to access the Irrigation chest.

Happy collecting, Guardians, with much thanks to YouTuber SquirelockHolms.

Destiny 2 is available on Xbox One and PS4, and heads to Windows PC later in the month. If you’d rather travel through the insides of the Leviathan map, we’ve got a handy guide for you to use right here.
