Destiny 2 Power levelling guide: Take it to the max

Update: Welcome to Destiny 2, PC-based Guardians!

Original story: Some Destiny 2 players have already completed the game’s campaign, now left asking, “what next?”

Endgame, that’s what. And we’ve a great guide from Reddit’s QurBDO to help you prepare for it.

Power levelling

Destiny 2’s first Raid, Leviathan, drops this week and you’re going to need to gather every iota of Power you can. Here’s a great guide from on how to level up as efficiently as possible.

Power Leveling Guide from DestinyTheGame

We weren’t kidding, eh? Here’s the TL;DR version:

Hold off on as many Exotics and Milestone events as you can, as those are the engram-rewarding questlines that will help you to break past the game’s 265 softcap. If you’ve already completed Milestones, take heart – they reset once a week.

Stevivor’s tips

  • Don’t forget that engrams will take your highest Power level into account when they’re earned. There’s no need to equip items with higher Power before you decode them, nor is there any point in saving them for later – they’re tied to the moment you gather them.
  • Make use of Heroic Public Events to gain access to more Legendary engrams. They might help to level up items via infusion. Not sure how to trigger a Heroic version of a Public Event? Head here.

Do you have any tips for fellow Guardians, players?

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
