The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Our Stevivor Game of the Year Awards 2023 program returns! We hope you had an amazing Christmas Day, folks. Now, we award the best Switch game of 2023.
This category could also be called “Best First-Party Nintendo Game of 2023”, but we digress. In a year full of greats from Nintendo, Stevivor staffers couldn’t look past the masterpiece that is The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
“The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is one of the most creative, satisfying and rewarding games I’ve ever played, all within a familiar and greatly expanded Hyrule,” wrote Ben in his review. “How you approach combat, exploration and puzzle-solving is only limited by your imagination, and it avoids the common sandbox blunder of becoming aimless.”
High praise indeed.
We’ve only got two more platform-specific categories left before we unveil our Game of the Year 2023. Take a look at what’s come before below and see you tomorrow.
The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.
