Stevivor’s Best Ongoing Game of 2022

If you get knocked down, get right back up and try again.

We’re at the end of this week’s bit of our 2022 awards program, and today’s category is Best Ongoing Game of 2022.

In a tightly contested category, Stevivor staffers ultimately chose Fall Guys as this year’s recipient.

It’s been a big year for Mediatonic’s crowning jewel, with new releases on Xbox and Switch platforms, and therefore, a whole new player base to engage.

We’ve had a blast with Fall Guys throughout the year, and will often jump in for a round or two as a group to decompress… that is, until we get to the pointy end of the contest.

Fall Guys is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.

Our awards program will continue throughout December 2022; we’re taking a break over the weekend. Check out what we’ve already awarded and what’s to come below.

Steve Wright

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
