EA trademarks Need for Speed: Arena in Europe

EA has filed a trademark application for Need for Speed: Arena with the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

Submitted on 7 November, the application pertains to “computer game software”, “downloadable computer game software”, “video game software” and “on-line computer game”.

EA has yet to comment on the application.
