Pokémon Go‘s new buddy system is now live, and comes with a neat little Easter egg too.
If you select Pikachu as your buddy — via your Trainer menu — and then walk 10km with the li’l fella, he’ll jump on your shoulder. That move mirrors the same habit Pikachu had with Ash in the Pokémon animated series.
The update is now available on iOS and Android.
