A Beta, pop-up Beta Bar campaign now available on Pozible

Skaidris Gunsmith and Bonnie Bradley, formerly of the Mana Bar Melbourne and the faces behind the eventual Beta Bar, have taken to Pozible with a Beta… well, Beta Bar campaign.

“What we’re proposing here is since Beta Bar will take a while to be opened we want to do something a whole lot sooner that will be great fun for the community and also benefit the Beta Bar Project,” the pair wrote on Pozible. “We want to organize a monthly event where we take over an already established Melbourne Bar, provide the latest Console Games, Board Games, Card Games and Arcades and have a great night with heaps of exclusives and giveaways!”

Funds raised via the campaign will go to cover venue costs and acquire consoles and arcade machines for the month-to-month venue. Consoles and arcade machines acquired will be used in the actual Beta Bar when launched.

Via their campaign video, the pair also said the Beta Beta Bar concept might not be limited to Melbourne.

A series of rewards are also available to donors, from $5 AUD amounts all the way up to $3,000+ AUD. Head here to donate now.
