Xbox One bulk copy/move: Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra wants “to get to” the feature

Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra has taken to Twitter, saying he wants to implement an easier way to move bulk content between Xbox One consoles and storage drives.

In an exchange with friend of the site Beau, Ybarra placed his support behind easier move or copy functionality, saying he “wants to get to” it.

The conversation arose after Microsoft’s Major Nelson showed himself moving items to a hard drive one at a time.

Currently, Xbox One content has to be moved one item at a time between the Xbox’s internal to external storage drives, or between multiple external drives. The only time a bulk move or copy can be used is with a title and its DLC.

A request for bulk copying/moving has been on the Xbox Voice website since June of this year. It’s currently with 2,181 votes of support — hopefully, Ybarra’s included.

Thanks, Beau.
