Yesterday Phil Spencer announced that Elite: Dangerous would coming to Xbox One this year.
Spencer said that it would make its console debut on Xbox One, suggesting that it would be at least a timed exclusive. Today, Frontier Developments Founder David Braben confirmed that Elite: Dangerous would eventually be released on PS4, in answer to a fan question on Twitter.
@smallfaraway_ Sure. Mac of course, then down the line we will support more, including PS4. The XB1 is a timed exclusive.

No details beyond what Braben said on Twitter have been revealed. It’s not known how long the Xbox One exclusivity will last nor when the PS4 version will launch.
