Stevivor.com Podcast: Episode #004

StevivorPodcast

Welcome to Stevivor.com Podcast #4.

This week we discuss…well…lots of things. This is a slightly inebriated 2 hour special edition of the podcast where 5 of us sat around drinking and chatting about anything and everything. We love, we laugh, we fight, we cry. We’ve got it all.

What we actually talk about is Starhawk, Minecraft, downloadable titles, pre orders, GAME going into administration, the growing DRM requirement for a permanant online connection and much more.

So have a listen, have a laugh and let us know your thoughts. You can post your opinions below or email us at [email protected]

There are two things I love in life... video games and my family. I work full time as an IT manager to provide for my wife, three kids and a heavy gaming habit. I own almost every console since the Atari 7800 and am proud of my extensive collection of games. I'm more of a single or coop player but I do dabble in multiplayer on the odd occasion. If you want to have a game or just chat feel free to add me, PM me or email me.

Got somewhat more interesting once you guys sobered up a bit :)

I'm not particularly interested in trying to save the local retail industry out as a form of patriotism. If you are going to invoke patriotism, I'd prefer to focus on the high skill jobs such as game development.

If I buy a US developed game, a large portion of the purchase price is going to go to the US, whether I buy it locally or from overseas via mail order. For games developed in Australia, money will come into the country every time anyone in the world purchases the game.

Steve Wright was funny but I’d probably stick to the original script ha. Also could leo stop being so pessimistic?

      Leo responded “No”. Lol.

Wait’ll you hear him talk about Resi 6 and Max Payne 3. You’ll have more than enough optimism to fill your boots :)
