Twitch’s 2014 stats reveal it is hugely popular

Twitch has celebrated the year 2014 with a mammoth infographic outlining some of their achievements in the past year. The biggest are their numbers, 16 billion minutes watched per month by 100 million unique users, provided by 1.5 million broadcasters.

Twitch also pays due respect to the charitable efforts promoted by its users, with over $10.5m USD raised for charity in 2014. Their random facts are also good, such as the Irish leading the world Minecraft obsession, Turkey loving League of Legends and the Philippines watching Dota 2 almost exclusively. Does it make the near $1b USD price tag paid for them by Amazon worth it? Time will tell.
