A Twitter user has posted what’s alleged to be the new movie redesign of Sonic the Hedgehog from the movie of the same name.
Fans lost their minds back in March over the character’s initial design, prompting Paramount Pictures to delay the film in an effort to make Sonic more visually appealing. The photo, below, is Paramount’s attempt.
What do you think? Granted, it’s a bit hard to see in the image from Twitter’s PabloThingHouse, but you get the idea. Sonic’s chubbier, with larger eyes and additional changes to his shoes, hands and head.
We’ve yet to officially hear from Paramount about the redesign; we’ll let you know as more develops.
Sonic the Hedgehog heads to theatres on 14 February 2020.
