Rhianna Pratchett the PAX AUS 2018 keynote speaker

Rhianna Pratchett has been named the PAX AUS 2018 keynote speaker.

The writer of Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider, Pratchett has also worked on Mirror’s Edge, the Overlord series and Heavenly Sword.

Outside of video games, Pratchett has also worked on Tomb Raider and Mirror’s Edge comics for Dark Horse and DC Comics as well as work in television for the Jim Henson Company, Film4 and more.

Pratchett said she’s “hugely delighted to be sharing tales of my narrative adventures at my first PAX in the land of pie floaters, Icehouse and Yahoo Serious.”

“Rhianna is, frankly, an inspiration,” said Luke Lancaster, Content Manager of PAX AUS. “And while we’re being frank, she’s one of the most prominent, impressive writers in video games and beyond. We couldn’t be more excited for her to take the stage at PAX Aus 2018 to share her story and experiences.”

PAX AUS 2018 takes place at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre and runs over 26-28 October. Tickets are now on sale.
