EA Sports today debuted NHL 18 gameplay as part of the NHL Awards.

The Oilers’ Connor McDavid was also named as the game’s cover star.
“Representing NHL 18 as the cover athlete is an incredible honor,” McDavid said. “I’ve played EA Sports NHL every year since I was kid. To appear on the cover, something that has been done previously by so many players that I respect and admire, is very exciting.”
The Las Vegas Golden Knights, the NHL’s newest expansion team, will also feature in-game.
NHL 18 heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 15 September. Unlike Madden NFL 18, NBA Live 18 and FIFA 18, it doesn’t look to be using Frostbite or feature a unique story mode.
