New Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay was today shown at Summer Game Fest, and we’ve got it for you below.
Unsurprisingly, it looks a lot like the Mortal Kombat gameplay we’ve seen in the past few iterations of the franchise, but I digress. It’s new and it’s coming later this year. Exciting!
“It’s In Our Blood,” reads the description of the gameplay trailer. “Discover a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe created by Fire God Liu Kang. Mortal Kombat 1 ushers in a new era of the iconic franchise with a new fighting system, game modes, and Fatalities!”
As you might expect, Fatalities make a big part of the gameplay, below. X-rays too. They’re all pretty neat, if that’s your thing.
Expect Mortal Kombat 1 from 19 September 2023 on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5 and Switch.
