Halo Infinite box art mirrors that of the original Halo

Newly released Halo Infinite box art was today shown off by developer 343 Industries and looks to mirror that of Bungie’s original Halo Combat Evolved.

The box art, shown above, was compared to the original Halo by many — and looking at the two side-by-side, it’s not hard to see why.

In addition to standard Halo fare — the actual Halo, vehicles and whatnot — eagle-eyed gamers believe they can see the reflection of Hyperius, the Banished Brute, in the Chief’s visor. Additionally, many believe the attachment on the Chief’s left arm to be the rumoured grappling hook that’s (once again) making the rounds.

Halo Infinite will feature as part of Microsoft’s first-party games showcase early tomorrow at 2.00 am AEST on 24 July. The game is expected this holiday season alongside the Xbox Series X — it will be available on that next-gen platform alongside Xbox One and PC, part of the Xbox Game Pass program.
