Cards Against Humanity no longer requires cards, humanity still optional

Cards Against Humanity is one of the best party games out there, but finding a physical copy has proven difficult at times. PAX Australia sold out quickly, shipping to Australia from the US is expensive, and that’s if you can find a vendor who isn’t trying to charge 1000% markup on eBay due to the demand. While one solution has always been to take advantage of the Creative Commons license and print your own copy, a far better solution is now available with the unofficial Cards Against Originality app allowing you to use a phone, tablet or any web enabled device to simulate the card playing experience.

While online versions of Cards Against Humanity have existed for some time, Xyzzy and a Skype call being my personal preference, this is the easiest way to simulate the same room joy Cards Against Humanity provides without the need for a physical deck. I’m of the belief nothing beats the fun of throwing cards around and slamming them down, something you won’t want to do with a phone or tablet, but for a spur of the moment game or for those not wanting to cart a ‘bigger, blacker box’ around with them to parties it’s a decent alternative.

You can play Cards Against Originality here, though the web server is struggling with the traffic at present. You can check out the original Cards Against Humanity at their website.
