Apple announces the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, iPad Pro and confirms iOS9 release date

Apple today announced two new phones and a big-ass tablet.

Available from 25 September, the new iPhone 6S is a 4.7-inch phone, while the iPhone 6S Plus is a 5.5-inch behemoth. They’re both complete with a new camera that allows for 4K video capture alongside emergency selfies. Both phones also incorporate new 3D Touch gestures.

The 12.9 inch iPad Pro is the largest in the iPad family. It will come with a 64-bit A9X chip that boasts a 10-hour battery life. A release date has not yet been set for the new tablet.

These new devices will run iOS 9, available for iPhone, iPod and iPad on 16 September.
