The one thing Injustice 2 needs: More victory poses

There’s no doubt that Injustice 2 is amazing. Sadly though, it’s severely lacking in one department: victory poses.

I’ve decided my main man for Guild and Multiverse matches is none other than Jaime Reyes, the Blue Beetle. I love him. His powers are amazing, his combos are brutal (aka easy for me, Mr. All-thumbs, to pull off) and he’s just an all-around nice character. Getting new Gear is a treat with Beetle, as it really changes up his aesthetic — helmets especially. I love coming up with crazy new looks for the kid.

I’m so very sick of his victory pose though. After thirteen levels worth of victories, I’m at the point where I can’t stand watching him do the same thing, over and over and over.

Over. That word brings another game — Overwatch — to mind. It absolutely nails character customisation, right down to victory poses — something Injustice 2 hasn’t even bothered to implement. After unlocking 25 Mother Boxes worth of gear, and not seeing a victory pose in the lot — nor at option to change it in customisation screens, I think it’s safe to say that I’m stuck with Jaime’s little backflip thing. Yuck.

For those who want to burn out on all poses, and super-quick, here they are.

Let’s hope NetherRealm is listening — I’m sure I’m not the only DC fan who’d like a little variety, eh?

Injustice 2 is now available on Xbox One and PS4. Expect our review shortly.
