Tell Me Why is free during pride month

Get it quick!

Tell Me Why is free to download over this year’s pride month, June 2021, developer DONTNOD has proclaimed.

Anyone who takes advantage of the offer will own the license to play the game at any time during pride month and beyond.

You can download the three-part title here:

We called Tell Me Why “a masterclass in narrative & representation” in our review, adding “while [it] may draw people in because of a transgender character, it offers far more than just that. It presents a complex, psychological narrative that doesn’t use minorities as mere tools to shortcut emotional responses from its players.”

Additionally, Stevivor awarded Tell My Why our “Best Xbox game” and runner-up “Best Narrative” honours in our 2020 Game of the Year Awards.

Tell Me Why is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.

About the author

Steve Wright

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
