Tash Sultana re-records Last of Us Part 2 song to celebrate launch

Australian artist Tash Sultana has re-recorded The Last of Us Part 2‘s “Through the Valley” to celebrate the game’s launch.

“Through the Valley” accompanied the game’s reveal trailer way back in 2016.

“This is the first time I’ve done a collab like this,” Sultana said. “Usually it’s kinda just like writing sessions with other musos but this is for a game and it’s different as it’s not my usual style to venture into so I’m completely honoured to be asked to do something like this. I can’t wait to see it in the game world.”

While it’s really not in the game world, you can watch Sultana’s efforts below. We’ve also embedded the game’s reveal trailer for comparison.

The Last of Us Part 2 is available now. We reviewed the game here and offer up a full Trophy guide and roadmap here.
