Starlink Battle for Atlas will drop its toys-to-life component

Starlink Battle for Atlas will continue on without its toys-to-life component, Ubisoft has recently detailed.

“Despite the immense and continuous support from our players, the sales for Starlink: Battle for Atlas fell below expectations,” Ubisoft wrote in a refreshingly candid blog post. “Consequently, we recently made the decision to not release any additional physical toys for the Spring update and in the future.”

There is additional content in the pipeline for Starlink, including new Star Fox missions on the Switch. While those who’ve embraced the toys-to-life component will be sad that no new peripherals are on the way, I’ve always been of the opinion that Starlink: Battle for Atlas was better digitally (and away from Switch) anyway.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas is currently available on Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
